About Online Banking

With U.S. Bank Online Banking, you'll enjoy many time-saving account management features, including:

  • Expanded Transaction History—access up to 2 years of transactions – building to 5 years.
  • Search Functionality—search through your transaction history by date, transaction type, description or amount.
  • More Online Statements—over 2 years of Online Statements – building up to 7 years.

Account Transactions

With Online Banking, you have the flexibility to schedule a future payment, make a same-day payment or sign up for AutoPay, where your payment is scheduled on the same day each month.

To make a payment:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Under the "Bill Payments" tab, select "Pay My Account" or "Pay a U.S. Bank Account".
  3. Complete the payment information.
  4. Select Continue.

The cut-off time for same day Web (non-AutoPay) payments varies but generally ranges between 5 pm and 8 pm CT. Please contact Cardmember Service if you have questions about your applicable cut-off time.


Making a payment over the phone is easy! First you need to sign up for this option, and then each time you make a payment via our automated phone system, your next statement will reflect that payment. After you've set up PhonePay the first time, call Cardmember Service anytime before your payment due date—even on the due date if you call before 7 p.m. (CST). Have your Card account number handy and follow the easy payment instructions. There is no charge for a payment made through our automated phone system (consumer cards only).1 To sign up for PhonePay just call Cardmember Service.

You can transfer up to 4 balances to your account.

Note: Rewards are not awarded on Balance Transfers. It is the cardholders responsibility to close their own existing credit card, upon the completion of a balance transfer to a U.S. Bank credit card.

Account Alerts notify you of important account activity, such as a low available balance or when a payment is due. You can set-up these alerts and select where you would like an email or text message notification delivered. Standard text messaging rates may apply from your mobile carrier. The following alerts are available:

Security Alerts notify you when sensitive personal information, like an ID or address, changes. These alerts do not require any set-up and are automatically delivered to your primary email address.
You will be notified when the following events occur:
  • Address or phone number changes
  • Primary email address changes
  • Online Banking ID or Password changes
  • ID Shield Changes (including setup, questions and answers or image/sound and phrase changes)
  • Online Banking ID and Password were disabled due to multiple, incorrect login attempts
  • Login Assistance was requested to provide your Online Banking ID
U.S. Bank overdraft protection protects your U.S. Bank Checking account from costly overdrafts by automatically transferring cash to it from your FlexPerks credit card account.
With FlexControl, you have the flexibility to accelerate payments to help pay down a balance more quickly, or pay off larger purchases over time. Choose FlexControl Accelerator to manage your payments and help save on interest.
  • Make accelerated payments to reduce your credit card balance and help save on interest charges.
  • Choose an amount you're comfortable with to add to your minimum payment - we'll track these incremental payments on your statement and show you the interest you're saving.
  • Choose a payment frequency that fits your finances (monthly or weekly).
  • After you set up your Accelerator payments, you can adjust them online any time.
To set up FlexControl Accelerator:
  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Under the "Transfers and Payments" tab, select "Pay a U.S. Bank Account."
  3. Select the account you are paying to and from and then select "Recurring"
  4. Your FlexControl options will be displayed to the right.
Additional Features

With your Online Banking spend analysis, you can download a year-to-date summary for the current year, or an annual account summary for the two previous calendar years.

To access the spend analysis:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. On the My Accounts page, click the “View Spend Analysis” link under your Card.

Note: Data is loaded on a monthly basis and should be available by the 5th business day of the month. If you are attempting to access a new account, the account must go through one statement cycle before the data will become available.

To redeem rewards:
  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Under the "My Accounts" tab, select "My Rewards."
  3. Select "Redeem Rewards" under your FlexPerks Card.

Cardmembers enrolled in Online Banking can obtain their TransUnion® Credit Score2 - at absolutely no cost!  Knowing your credit score can help you:
  • Gain a greater understanding of your financial health
  • Learn how your score works by discovering what factors impact your score
  • Implement goals to improve or maintain your score

To get your free credit score:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select your FlexPerks Card.
  3. Select "Check Your Credit Score for Free" from the left navigation.

To request a copy of your Cardmember Agreement:
  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select your FlexPerks Card
  3. Select "Request A Cardmember Agreement" under the "Take Action" section.

Your Agreement will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days.

Download up to 90 days of transaction data.  Easy download formats include Quicken® or Microsoft® Excel.

U.S. Bank may change APRs, fees, and other Account terms in the future based on your experience with U.S. Bank National Association and its affiliates as provided under the Cardmember Agreement and applicable law.

Business Cardmembers: U.S. Bank will increase your rate to a Penalty Rate if you:  1) Make payments 5 calendar days late twice, or 30 calendar days late once. 2) Make a payment that is returned; or 3) If you exceed your Credit Limit 2 times in 12 consecutive months.
